Founded in 2012, the Pamela D. Franklin Cultural Center for the Performing Arts (PDFCCPA) is a registered 501(c)3 Arts organization inspiring, educating and reinforcing a positive sense of cultural identity and self-worth of those we serve through the world of performing arts: music, dance, theater and creative writing.
The Pamela D. Franklin Cultural Center for the Performing Arts (PDFCCPA) has set out on a simple mission: “To inspire those we serve utilizing music, dance, theater and creative writing, helping them realize their full potential to become a positive influence in the global community." We believe Arts has the power to transform lives. A well organized a team of competent, committed individuals serve as our Board of Directors. Our dynamic combination of leadership and community involvement is how we fulfill our mission.
Performing arts can teach people how to express themselves effectively, and can also be a tool to promote mutual respect of cultural differences, social justice, and environmental awareness; capture the imagination, stir the conscience and empower those we serve to be a positive influence in the global community.
We provide quality and diverse opportunities for shared artistic experiences. Performers attend master classes, research field tours, lectures and workshops. The tours will serve as a road-map for performers to share their experiences with the community through Cultural Arts showcases.
